AirAsia Indonesia To Suspend Darwin-Bali Route


AirAsia Indonesia will suspend its service connecting Bali with Darwin as part of a network restructuring aimed at improving operational efficiency. The final date of service for Bali-Darwin route is 28 January 2018.

Australia remains an important market for the AirAsia Group as the airline will continue to serve more than 80 weekly flights via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bali, Indonesia – Kuala Lumpur-Sydney, Kuala Lumpur-Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur-Gold Coast, Kuala Lumpur-Perth and Bali-Perth.

Affected guests were notified directly via email and SMS notification. AirAsia encourages all guests to update their registered contact details through Manage My Booking at airasia.com to ensure they are notified of any updates.

Guests who hold bookings after 28 January 2018 will be entitled to choose one of the following service recovery options offered by AirAsia Indonesia:

Option 1: Move flight: Change to a travel date not later than 28 January 2018 on the same route without additional cost and subject to seat availability; OR

Option 2: Credit Account: Retain the value of the fare in a credit account for travel with AirAsia. The online Credit Account to be redeemed within 180 calendar days from the date of issue, for travel date of your choice; OR

Option 3: Full refund – Obtain a full refund in the amount equivalent to your booking and in form of the original payment. Please email us to inform your name and booking code atiaa_darwin@airasia.com.
