Love yourself and ‘Glow Up’ in GMA News TV’s latest lifestyle and beauty show



Beginning June 9 (Sunday), GMA News TV inspires viewers to empower themselves inside and out in the newest lifestyle and beauty showGlow Up.


With the help of style and beauty council members Kapuso actress and 2017 Primera Filipina Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez, model-turned-actress Michelle Dee, and Miss Eco International 2018 Thia Thomalla, Glow Up takes viewers on a guided journey in building their self-esteem, loving themselves, and upgrading their style.

Winwyn shares some tips on beauty and confidence. Michelle would showcases her skills on modeling and photography. Thia imparts knowledge on fashion and makeup. They also provide access to industry professionals for the Glow Up transformation that our viewers need.

“Iba-iba kami ng personalities at experiences. We each have our own set of skills na maaaring may matutunan ang viewers natin,” shares Winwyn in an interview.

“Aside from enhancing your physical appearance, we also want our viewers and guests to improve themselves internally. We want them to realize that change is a good thing,” says Thia.

Michelle also says that the digital platform of Glow Up is very beneficial to its viewers. “With the growing benefits of the online world, Glow Up can easily be accessible for women to tune into with its tutorials as exclusive online content," she adds.

In the show’s pilot episode, the style council gives Nicole Sydney Chan an experience of a lifetime by introducing her to the glam team of her ultimate idol, Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista. The Kapuso actress’ makeup artist Albert Kurniawan and hair stylist Jeck Aguilar make Nicole’s dream come true as they give her a makeover. Nicole also gets styled ala #LoveMarieXWhites. Will she be able to meet Heart as well?
