GMA airs Aicelle Santos’ solo concert on SNBO

This Sunday (April 8), avid fans of the Rock and Soul Diva Aicelle Santos will definitely have a blast as GMA Network airs the major solo concert of the singer entitled “Awit na Aicelle” on Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO).

“Awit na Aicelle” was her last major performance before embarking on a UK Tour as Miss Saigon’s newest Gigi.

Get ready to be serenaded into one dazzling night as Aicelle showcases her amazing range that got everyone raving ever since the finals of Pinoy Pop Superstar. Since then, she has won Best Interpreter at the Astana International Song Festival in Kazakhstan, bagged two Aliw Awards for Best Actress in a Musical, and is now the newest Filipino to top bill the hit musical Miss Saigon.

“Awit na Aicelle” covers a range of music – OPM classics, Pinoy rock hits, a Whitney Houston medley, and powerful songs from Pinoy musicals Himala, Maynila: Sa Kuko ng Liwanag, and Rak of Aegis. She also delivers a few “spoken word” pieces that she herself wrote for the concert.

“Awit na Aicelle” is directed for stage by Carlo Orosa and is directed for Television by Louie Ignacio.
