Rodjun Cruz renews ties with GMA Network

Highly-talented actor and performer Rodjun Cruz is looking forward to more years as a Kapuso after renewing his management contract with GMA Artist Center on yesterday, October 9.

Present in the contract signing were GMA Entertainment Group Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier Cruz, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, Senior Talent Manager Vic del Rosario and Leo Dominguez, Rodjun’s co-manager.

Rodjun is grateful to the Network’s immense support as he embarks on a new chapter in his career and acknowledged the challenging projects that GMA has been giving him.

“Sobrang thankful talaga ako sa GMA sa tiwala na ibinibigay nila sa akin. Dito ko na-experience maging aktor dahil na-explore ko ang iba't-ibang roles. Na-explore ko rin yung talent ko sa pagkanta at sa pagsasayaw. Mas ganado akong magtrabaho ngayon dahil nae-enjoy ko yung trabaho ko at marami akong napapasayang tao.”

He counts his roles in My Husband’s Lover and Encantadia as his most memorable.

"First role na ginawa ko sa GMA ay si Martin sa My Husband's Lover. Of course, favorite role ko rin si Paopao sa Encantadia, pero halos lahat po talaga ay challenging para sa akin,” said Rodjun.

He also appeared in several GMA shows such as Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, Legally Blind, and Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka.

The Kapuso heartthrob also hopes to work with his younger brother, Rayver, on a television series.

“Hopefully, makatrabaho ko si Rayver sa isang project. Nag-enjoy kaming dalawa sa guesting namin sa Tonight with Arnold Clavio dahil parang hindi trabaho. Nakasayaw at nakakanta rin kami together. Sana sa susunod, magkaroon kami ng acting project.”

Meanwhile, Rasonable expressed her gladness that Rodjun affirmed his loyalty with GMA. She quipped that Rodjun will be given various projects to showcase his knack for acting and performing.

“Alam naman natin na he's a multitalented artist. Not only can he act, he can also dance. Mayroon tayong ibibigay na projects sa kanya sa drama. At the same time, we will also have him on Studio 7. Dapat abangan ng mga Kapuso dahil pwede silang magsama ni Rayver.”
