SM Employees share blessings to Ticud Elementary Students

Christmas came early to a thousand students of Ticud Elementary School in the district of Lapaz in Iloilo City.

Employees of SM City Iloilo gladly volunteered last October 1, 2018 to deliver the brand new school shoes to the students of the said school.

 

The shoes came with a card with a message of inspiration for the recipient, personally written by the employee who bought the shoes.

Ticud Elementary School principal Girlie Gabinete, thankfully welcomed the team as she delivered her message in behalf of the school.

 

Asst. Mall Manager Marilee Biboso in her remarks reiterated the importance of education and how a good pair of a shoes can greatly help in the daily grind of the students in going to school.

 

The SM City Iloilo team was led by SM Regional Operations Manager for Visayas 3 Girlie Liboon, together with department managers and their staff.

The activity is part of SM’s 60th Anniversary celebration and its aim to provide 60,000 pairs of shoes to underprivileged schoolchildren nationwide.
