New Clark-Bcd, Clark-Ilo, vise versa flights to open on August

The Department of Tourism Region VI welcomes the new flights that will connect Western Visayas to the Northern Philippines.
Starting August 9, 2019, Cebu Pacific will have its Clark-Bacolod and Clark-Iloilo flights, vice versa.

As part of the preparation, a Trade and Tourism Session hosted by Cebu Pacific was held on July 9, 2019. DOT Region VI presented the tourism updates in Western Visayas especially on Bacolod City, Negros Occidental and Iloilo. Other DOT Regional Offices such as DOT Region IV-B and DOT Region III also showcased the tourism products of their respective region. Transport and tour operators and other trade partners were also present during the Trade and Tourism Session.

"The new flights will be of great help in increasing the tourist arrivals in Western Visayas. Aside from the existing flights to and from Clark, these new flights will open up Western Visayas to more investors and could provide more options to the travellers", DOT VI Regional Director Atty. Helen J. Catalbas said.

Aside from Cebu Pacific, there are also round trip flights in routes such as Iloilo-Clark, Bacolod-Clark, Kalibo-Clark, Caticlan-Clark and Antique-Clark being offered by Philippine Airlines and AirAsia.
